The world's most requested form of massage therapy is the Swedish Massage.

"Swedish Massage" refers to a variety of massage techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.

The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles and leave you feeling as though you are walking on clouds.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.

It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fiber's of the muscles, tendons and fascial.

A Deep Tissue Massage can leave you feeling tender well after you leave the spa. It is intended to address serious chronic pain areas in the body.

Sports Massage

The purpose of the massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, relieve swelling, reduce muscle tension, promote flexibility and to prevent injuries.

The main purpose of sports massage therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension, which builds up in the body's soft tissues during physical activity

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage is a form of massage that is geared to meet the unique needs of the pregnant woman. Promoting better function of muscles and joints, pregnancy massage also improves circulation and overall body tone.

Our Pregnancy Massage is safe, secure and helps decrease mental and physical fatigue.

Please make reception aware of your pregnancy and how many weeks along you are when booking your appointment.

Many women who are past the first trimester can enjoy a relaxing massage, if you have any specific question or concerns we ask you to seek the advice of your Physician.

*Women who are pregnant should not use the sauna, steam or recieve hot stone thearapy.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage is becoming widely known for its deeply relaxing benefits. It employs a technique that uses smooth, heated basalt stones, which are placed on specific acupressure points on the body to melt away knots, tension and stress.

Your Massage Therapist will also use uniquely shaped stones to massage other muscle groups. With hot stones your Massage Therapist can achieve a deeper healing massage.

The Hot Stone Massage relieves pain, promotes harmony, balance, and thoroughly warms the body.

Thai Massage

Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than more classic forms of massage. Thai massage is also called Thai yoga massage, because the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches.

Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work. Muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure are also used during treatment, leaving you with better posture, a sense of balance and more flexibility.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a complementary therapy, which works on the feet to help heal the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms and can be used to help restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium.

This massage can be done while you are fully clothed and in a slight up-right position.

The reflexologist will use their hands to apply pressure to the feet. The application and the effect of the therapy is unique to each person.
